- This can also be used with the neuter pronoun lo, to refer to ideas, or actions already mentioned, but lo que is more common:
Saqué un diez en mi examen de Lengua, lo cual/lo que alegró a mi familia.
Uses
- It is similar to QUE and it can be replaced by this one
- Its regular use is as an interrogative :¿Cuál quieres?
- Cualindicates a selection:
El profesor, el cual enseñaba inglés, ha publicado un libro
- When it refers to things, it can be used que o el cual/los cuales/lacual/las cuales:
Los puzles, los cuales me trajiste, son muy complicados
